Games this week at Sonoma Valley High

The fall athletes of Sonoma Valley High School are looking at a busy week, with games home and away.

Football

Sept. 2

Sonoma Valley will face off against Oakland High School at home. Junior varsity (11 man) kicks off at 4:45 p.m. Varsity plays at 7 p.m. All football entry is ticketless, fans need the GoFan app to purchase access.

Sept. 10

The Dragons head to Terra Linda High School. The junior varsirty teams kicks off at 11:30 a.m., followed by varsity at 2 p.m.

Tennis

Sept. 6

The girls tennis team heads to Petaluma to play Petaluma High School. The varsity team is set to play from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Sept. 8

The varsity girls tennis team takes on Justin-Siena at home. The teams hit the Sonoma Valley High courts from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Volleyball

Sept. 6

The girls volleyball team heads to Petaluma High School for a match. The freshman team plays at 4 p.m., with JV at 5 p.m. and varsity at 6 p.m. All volleyball entry is ticketless, fans need the GoFan app to purchase access.

Sept. 10

The Paganini Tournament sets the JV and frosh volleyball girls up for a full day of play, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the high school.

Water Polo

Sept. 6

The boys water polo team will swim north to Ukiah High School. The varsity team plays at 6 p.m.

Cross Country

Sept. 7

The annual SVHS Alumni Meet Time Trial includes the co-ed varsity team. The event takes place at the school stadium from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Sept. 10

The co-ed cross country team heads to Golden Gate Park for the Lowell Invitational. The event runs from noon to 2 p.m.

Golf

Sept. 8

Sonoma Valley High’s female golfers tee-off against Vintage High School from Napa. The home match at Sonoma Golf Club starts at 2:45 p.m.
