Hits the Runway
The energy was high in the crowd of 150 guests, all there to support Boys & Girls Club’s after-school programs and delight in the latest fall fashions.
The club members stole the show as usual, with their clothes sponsored by Sonoma Old School Skate & Surf. Owner Rob Wilson received the annual Angel Award, given out to the club's outstanding volunteer of the year.
Guests enjoyed a lovely reception on the lawn of the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa before heading into the tent for a family-style brunch.
Julie Schindler Designs opened the event with a showing of her beautifully designed clothes on beautifully coifed women. Her gorgeous models included Daryle Baldwin, Carolina Salmonsen and Leslie Tippel. The main show was produced by Helen Lyall of Helen Lyall Clothes for Women and Scott Lyall Clothes for Men of Napa. It was fun to see so many new faces on the runway including dancing queen Lisa Carlsson, and Danny Fay.
