SV Mentoring Alliance 2012

Rick and Lori Miron opened up their beautiful home on Bennett Valley Road to host an intimate and exclusive dinner party for 40 guests, to benefit the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance. The three-course gourmet meal was donated, prepared and served by the staff of the El Dorado Kitchen. Guests included Gerry and Jane Baldwin, Diane and Steve Bieneman, Ethel and Gene Daly, Marcia and Jim Levy, and John and Pam Story, just to name a few. Following a champagne reception, Board President Cherie Hughes welcomed everyone to the event. After dinner, Carolyn Manzi and Flor were invited to share the very inspirational story of their eight-year journey together as mentor and mentee. Ellen and Drew Bradley offered a $20,000 match for any funds donated to the Mentoring Alliance that evening, and the guests surpassed that match amount by contributing an additional $27,000 to this very worthy cause.
