The Gay Wine Weekend - 2012

The fun-filled weekend brought together the LGBT community from as far away as London and as close as Healdsburg. The Winemaker Dinners at El Dorado Kitchen, the girl & the fig, ESTATE, as well as the Cabaret Night at the Sebastiani Winery, kicked off the event with Melissa Stone, Mary Elyse and many others. The Twilight T-Dance at Atwood Ranch was a truly spectacular evening, with more than 350 people in attendance, including Bill Blum, Ray Snyder, Bob Gain and Gene Ogden. They all enjoyed the SKYY Martini Bar, wines of Sonoma Valley and dancing to the music of New York’s DJ Corey Craig, amid the rolling hills and vineyards of Sonoma Valley. The weekend closed with the Big Gay Wine Auction and Brunch at Ramekins, and was sponsored by Benziger and Imagery Wineries. Michael Tate once again made for a wonderful auctioneer. It was a fabulous way to enjoy Sonoma Valley and its bounty while raising funds to benefit Face to Face, Sonoma County AIDS Network.
